Wow, thank you for this excellent article. It’s a lot worse than I thought, and I have been opposed to this war since I saw testimony confirming the presence of biological weapons labs, which are in some writings claimed to be the original targets of Russia in February of 2022. We must get out of the war business. The west is in great part responsible for this dictatorship in the first place.

How many millions did USAID spend on propaganda in Ukraine? I'm sure the EU has been helping on the "who and how" to sanction! Whatever PR firms Zelensky hired, he should fire them. Literally everyone I know say they can't stand the sight of him anymore! Average Americans. It also sickens me that now we're all admitting Biden was a vegetable, no one's even asking who tf signed off on our involvement in this mess?

Not to mention the loss of freedom of religious expression, especially the Orthodox Christians.

How's all that "freedom and democracy" working out for all of them?

The original Opposition Bloc opposed the invasion.

Also, Zelensky was shutting down oppo media even before the invasion.

After 27+ million Russians died before the Red Army entered the Führerbunker beneath the German Chancellery in Berlin, where German AND Ukrainian Nazis made their last stand — WHO in their right mind believes that the Stefan Banderite faction would he a peaceful, acceptable neighbour to the Russian Federation?

The Stefan Bandera faction was elevated by a German-US orchestrated by a 2014 coup precisely because of its past Nazi connections, and with the full knowledge that it would wage continuous war on Russia’s border.

What I want to know is, “when and how were all Western regimes and their so-called ‘news agency’ propaganda outlets so profoundly corrupted and debauched that not one of them had the wherewithal to speak a word of what anyone could have learned anyway.”

Sillyensky should have stuck with playing the piano with his genitalia.

So what should happen now (in an ideal world)? There are lots of problems with Ukraine, and we should stop idolizing VZ; but how to stop the war with Russia??

As it was in April of 2022, the US is the main obstacle to a peace agreement. The US wants the ukrainians to keep fighting to the last ukrainian in order to weaken Russia; they no longer even bother to lie about it.

If Ukraine had any independence from the US, and the Banderite neo-Nazis had been purged from the armed forces, and Zelenskiy had resigned and gone into exile, the country could have simply settled with Russia on the basis of the four republics and Crimea having been lost.

Now, since Zelenskiy refuses to budge on the "month-long truce," which the Russians know perfectly well would serve as a temporary hiatus to give the West time to rearm Ukraine and put boots on the ground from European countries and possibly the US, the Russians are saying if Zelenskiy insists on it — relying on his delusion that Ukraine is winning rather than losing the war — there will be five republics instead of four.

A genuine ceasefire would force the US, at least internally, to admit that its crusade to use Ukraine to weaken Russia turned out to be a fool's errand, as many statesman warned it would be from the late nineties on. The problem is that neocons never admit defeat.
