Rubin is the worst kind of neocon. The foaming at the mouth, snarling kind. To these types, shamelessness is virtue. Even the neocon editorial brigade occupying the WAPO suite had to suffer the embarrassment of their own ombudsman calling her out. Better to have her spout her nonsense here where she can embarrass herself to a smarter, larger audience.

you think? There is no end of fun, engaging establishment stuff on Substack. Why, I myself subscribe to Robert Reich (guy just gets worse, sorry) Jay Kuo (the man I hate) and The Ink (I wrote a whole post on him, if I remember properly). Not only that, I used to do Joyce Vance! But I think I was neglecting Heather Cox. Did I possibly do that for Joyce? What am I a sick-o or what!??

What we need to do, is to create a list of these frauds & mute & block them outright. Don’t give them an inch.

Oh no! I knew they were going to show up at some point. Too soon though. It’s going to be difficult for some of the uninitiated to discern the differences between “truths”.

Poor Jen is overwhelmed with mourning the fact that the neoconservative, warmonger cult that she has been such an enthusiastic part of has been so thoroughly rejected by the American people. Add to that the sad fact that she has been a one trick pony when it comes to rationalizing the Gaza massacre, and we can rest assured that the Washington Post won’t miss her at all.

The “ Gaza massacre”. What absolute crap. War is wrong. Don’t start them. You reap what you sow

The people of Gaza and their government didn't attack Israel, Hamas did. And the history of Israel/Palestine didn't start on Oct. 7th.

Israel is NOT conducting a genocide. Hamas WAS until Israel responded.

Sorry. But, when you say NOT conducting genocide that is a good indication that you are. Not meaning you personally, but anyone who posts something like this. Genocide is worse than normal war. This is the idea we usually have. We are under conditions of war here. Under conditions of war, parties will rarely admit to war crimes even as they are doing it. So I do not doubt that persons might say of themselves, "We are NOT conducting a genocide" Let's say you were doing this---committing genocide (or murder). That is one of the lowest things, so if it is that bad, is it also true that the party that commits the deed would be saying what they are doing? Not very often done, in cases of murder or crime. So somebody can post: Israel is NOT conducting genocide. Then the party the person wants blamed is mentioned. Here it is Hamas, who now enter the picture as the guilty one. After mentioning the nation of Israel, the posting individual mentions one more possible other genocide suspect. An outside party. Got to spread the blame around, don't we? So why did the poster Tom McMullan say this? Well, one very good explanation of saying this is that you (or Israel) is the one committing genocide.

The only reason people like Rubin are showing up on Substack is that their old outlets are failing. This isn't any type of propaganda offensive so much as it is desperation on their part.

No worries. I'm sure Substackers will give them the warm welcome they so richly deserve.

Thank you for exposing the propagandists who still insist on spewing lies.

That said, no I do not condone muting or blocking them (or anyone else) on Substack as long as they follow the rules they’ve agreed to.

Sure, as an individual, block or ignore anyone you want to. That’s your right. But the First Amendment is so fragile at the moment, seemingly so vulnerable, that I feel strongly that we should all be careful to defend it.

Great idea to massively ignore them by blocking and muting. They will bring in huge numbers of mindless, fawning followers which will only grow if you engage.
