Personally I was suspicious of the summer 2024 conversation between Elon Musk and candidate DJT. Although I agreed with the concept of doge, I could not help but wonder if this was an execution of a nefarious plan by Thiel and Musk and others.
Strategically adding in JD Vance who was not in like with DJT made me realize how easily fooled we are. Musk had personal reasons to snoop around but I can hope at the same time he wanted to fix corruption within and our government agencies including Congress, K Street and the Executive branch.
