Great article. I think it is important to call out and not allow the supported of fascists and nazis to pretend they are " liberal" because, I don't know, they are members of the democratic Party! No! They are fascist-adjacent creeps, supporters of hard core right wing causes and supporters of the most destructive and dangerous anti-Left and anti-democratic force in the world, namely the CIA.

I've been aware of Ukrainrs Nazi problem since the beginning of the war as reported by true journalists such as yourself.

Your piece certainly highlights what I've been saying and observing. No one bats an eye at those terms and words when they are hurled at one another today. That is the true tragedy.

I just think that the US needs to do more at home. Why do we interfere with other countries.

The rest of the world has been asking this for 80 years or more

Our government never asks the people before they do this stuff. They just do it and then tell us we have to go along with it. It really sucks

Do realise that. I’m not sure any government does. We’re all basically powerless.

Thank you, this is well written and its a fair analysis. Trying to explain the fascist groups in the Ukraine to people online has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. The propaganda really did a number on most Americans.

Good information. I once saw a video of Zelensky at the Line of Control ordering Azov Battalion to honor the Minsk Accords and cease firing. They laughed at him. Other news about Zelensky was the threat that if he kept talking about Minsk, they would hang him in Maidan. Then, coming back from Istanbul, one of Zelensky's negotiators was shot and killed for being "too pro-Russian." Not very nice people!

Nevertheless, Dissident, you help these types when you parrot the MSM's "illegal invasion of Ukraine." Russia's SMO was fully in accord with UN principles and accords, which Putin as a lawyer carefully crafted by recognizing Donetsk and Luhansk as sovereign republics (their people voted) and concluding a mutual defense treaty. Before the UkroNazis could launch their massive attack on Donetsk, Putin invoked the Special Military Operation to intervene in a potential massacre. Calling what the Russians did an 'illegal invasion' ignores the reality of the situation, things as they really were.

I think Pamela Jackson is full of it with BS herself. (Clearly a BlueAnon type if she's reposting the likes of Malcolm Nance.) I've followed Ivan Katchanovski on Twitter for years and he's the real deal and has the goods.

You can pretty much GFY. I follow people who have actually been in Ukraine training a fighting force focused on supporting a country which was invaded by Putin’s Russia. You know that many in the Republican Party support Putin and his puppet. I think I joined this Substack to see what another opinion would bring to my understanding. Instead I think I am best to unsubscribe from this crap you call “journalism”. Bye

Beyond what's here, I know the other facts, like Biden his own self 86-ing a possible peace deal just months after the fighting started. You can actually let yourself work on that understanding that you profess to desire, or you can keep the door of your mind closed out of tribalism.

Speaking of?

I did my duopoly exit on presidential voting at the start of this century. So, no, BlueAnon vs MAGAts is tribalism that doesn't float my boat.

Finally? I'm a gentleman still, for now, so I'll let you go first.

EDIT: Pamela may have been confused by the title "The Dissident," thinking it was for people who are of the likes of those who wore a certain type of hat on Jan. 20, 2017. Yes, I went there. Rather, this site (as is mine, with my occasional posts and links from Blogger) is for people who actually dissent from "conventional" political wisdom, including the Nat-Sec Nutsacks™ on foreign policy.

Pamela, I'll also suggest John Mearshimer for truth on both Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Gaza.

Mersheimer's a nutsack

Ready to spew toxic incoherent jizzto give orgasmic delight to the suckers that obsess over Jews and fawn over him and Finkelstein, whose parents were ardent communists and were heartbroken when Israel didn't go to the dark side thus they held a perpetual grudge feeding Norman Poison every day about Israel and look where we are all because of communists.

Maresheimer's an incoherent windbag with zero accountability and a hyper focus on Israel and the role that the Jews who dwell within his skull grinding away every day in the skate park of his own construction tell him continuously and often.

I was contemplating a thumbs up, but the retardation and supernatural predilection towards jew derangement syndrome manifest itself too often with examples being you pointing to JM as a source of Truth on anything.

Discernment is required and acknowledging that humans are supernaturally pre-wired to be triggered by Jews is elemental yet done rarely.

Finkelsheimers plague every comment section everywhere with the 109 countries quote and they're hyper focus on bringing up Jews all the time every time everywhere. In case you couldn't Intuit that word is based on the two chumps who blame Jews and Israel ongoing and continuously while ignoring Islam or even better saying it's a Jewish psyop.

Speaking of things we've known for 30 years

An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America

by Mohamed Akram

May 19, 1991

View the full document

Summary:

This May 1991 memo was written by Mohamed Akram, a.k.a. Mohamed Adlouni, for the Shura Council of the Muslim Brotherhood. In the introductory letter, Akram referenced a "long-term plan…approved and adopted" by the Shura Council in 1987 and proposed this memo as a supplement to that plan and requested that the memo be added to the agenda for an upcoming Council meeting. Appended to the document is a list of all Muslim Brotherhood organizations in North America as of 1991.

Notable quotes:

Enablement of Islam in North America, meaning: establishing an effective and stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood which adopts Muslims' causes domestically and globally, and which works to expand the observant Muslim base, aims at unifying and directing Muslims' efforts, presents Islam as a civilization alternative, and supports the global Islamic state, wherever it is.

In order for Islam and its Movement to become "a part of the homeland" in which it lives, "stable" in its land, "rooted" in the spirits and minds of its people, "enabled" in the live [sic] of its society and has firmly-established "organizations" on which the Islamic structure is built and with which the testimony of civilization is achieved, the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain "the keys" and the tools of this process in carry [sic] out this grand mission as a "Civilization Jihadist" responsibility which lies on the shoulders of Muslims and – on top of them – the Muslim Brotherhood in this country.

The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Proecess" with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.

I worked with a Ukrainian citizen (mother English) who, before the war started, was all for Putin going in and sorting the country out. He said, “Gangsters ran Ukraine”.

Now, he is totally against it.

It's a question of being careful what you wish for; politicians are usually devils or even bigger devils.

The different forms of government around the world and throughout history confirm this.

“America supporting fascists in Ukraine fits a long pattern of America backing any government or group, no matter how unsavory if they align with their geopolitical goals.”

Plus, the rise of a distinctively American fascism renders differences between US authoritarianism and fascistic movements globally to a distinction without meaning.
