I am a Brit. I apologise for Douglas Murray's snobbery and rude behaviour. We are not all like him and we don't necessarily believe the lies he and others tell either.

Thanks for this effort (couple of typos need correcting but otherwise very comprehensively covering every point that springs to my mind!)

I confess that I only actually watched 20 odd minutes of the Joe Rogan interview. Douglas Murray is repulsive and I had to switch him off. I wish everyone would do that.

Another Brit here. Couldn't agree more about Douglas Murray. He's among several prominent non-Jewish British journalists who have publicised their "proud Zionism", even insisting that "there is no genocide in Gaza".

Murray has been closely connected to the Henry Jackson Society.

I don't understand why any of these people, these obvious lies are even given airtime. I don't get why Rogan would even have this guy on.

Why do we keep trying to reconfigure what is right in front of our noses?

In the same vein, why do people feel they have to continue to quote and debunk things like the NYT or WAPO?

To me, it's just repeating the lies over and over.

Fellow Brit. Agree with you and Frances. This is exactly what I thought as I watched it, and sadly I watched the whole thing. Dave Smith barely got a word in, but it also surprised me that he didn’t push back more because he knows his facts. First 48 minutes were a constant appeal to authority (by a person who is not even an expert 🤪) and the rest of his responses were bloviating or exasperated sighs. Your description of Murray — a “pompous, stuck up, snot-nosed, English, giant twerp, scumbag, dickhead, asshole” — is 100 accurate! First time I properly listened to him, thinking I might learn a different perspective on P-I and I won’t bother again.

I popped back to the video and actually watched the rest of it today. I could not help but notice that Douglas Murray looks particularly pale, almost transparent. I then noticed that he sighed often and had a hang-dog body language. I began to worry. This was more than jet lag. This looks like absolute exhaustion or even a vaccine injury.

I would not be at all surprised if he collapses on the job at some point in the near future because his schedule in USA seems to be hectic…. he was jetting off to Washington DC immediately after that trial of an interview.

As much as I find his views about events in Gaza reprehensible, I would not wish ill on the man and hope he got some rest this weekend.

My question is not if Murray is lying, but why? Are he and other Zionists being paid to spew these untruths? If not, what is their motivation? One does not need to be an expert in anything beyond using one's own eyes to be able to recognize what is going on in Palestine.

I have to believe that the inate morality that we have as humans will move us all, eventually, to ignore these lies and to see these actions for what they are -- a horrific and brutal genocide.

The virgin birth narratives of the gospels of Matthew and Luke betray that they are of Greco-Roman origin and are mythological and not factual. Virgin births were all the rage in Greek mythology and there are multiple examples of this in Perseus, Dionysus, Jason, Erechtheus, etc. Virgin births are a common theme in many mythologies, religions, and legends. They often involve supernatural elements, astronomical signs, or intervention by a deity. But one thing for sure, Tanakh does not employ this or predict it as relating to the Jewish Messiah. It is purely a Greco-Roman literary device.

Genocide means the erasure of a people there are two billion Muslims and 24 Arab Nations still and the population count in Gaza is higher now than when they started the war against the Jewish Nation on a Jewish high holy day on a Jewish day of rest during a ceasefire against the Israelis who used to drive the very same invading Arab jihadi's to the hospital because of their peace loving why can't we just get along nature, some of those Israelis still persist in believing that the Arabs don't wish to kill them but the evidence is suffocating unless one is obtuse, a jihadi or an Islamic deflectionist who's happy to see Jews killed because they're a freak ass bitch cunt who is pre-wired to be a vile bitch triggered by Jews forevermore

What I find really sad about comments like yours is. The hypocrisy the likes of you show when the boot is on the other foot. I once read an article stating before WW2 there was 15 million Jewish citizens. The after WW2 & the notorious actions of the Nazi's. There was still 15million Jews. I thought to myself no matter how much evidence, no matter the pictures & films we've all seen. There's still extremists living in denial. It makes these extremists look as horrendous as what they obviously are. Yet here we are the victims always playing the victim card. To justify their atrocities. Of course 2 wrongs font make anything right. You might convince yourself, despite the politicians & media in the West being bought & paid for like Murray. No one can deny the amount of UN workers killed, the amount of journalists killed, the amount of hospitals attacked killing many defenceless civilians. Despite refugee camps being attacked, despite the amount of woman & children slaughtered & despite the shear amount of bombs dropped on civilians. Only extremists with severe mental health issues can deny the fact there's a modern day genocide taking place. The whole World is witnessing it, no matter what you've convinced yourself of. No matter what Western media states, I can only pity the likes of you. Because there's an awful lot of frustrated angry citizens in this World.

I listened too much of that conversation. Debate is, I think a bit gaudy for the loopy propaganda that Murray offered. Joe Rogan was very precise in his rebuttals of Murray’s false claims, but he could’ve been much more forceful. Like Sam Harris, Murray is just intelligent enough to make himself appear more intelligent than he is. Had he been debating somebody like Gore Vidal, there would’ve been nothing but a pile of smoldering ashes on the chair after 10 minutes.

I must say though, that he can sure rock a steel helmet. I haven’t seen such a hilarious faux-soldier photo since that famous shot of Michael Dukakis in a tank. You go, Dougie!

He's a white supremacist and a Neocon Imperialist.

It certainly has deteriorated in Europe. . I remember the terrorist stabbing people on the commuter bridge in London. The passenger on a bus in England that was hatcheted to death by an Immigrant, the drivers plowing into the German Christmas markets every year for the last three years. Also the October fest. Let's go to France. More Mohammedians burning down Notre Dame. A priest getting killed by a Mohammedian using a hatchet. Charlie Hebdo printed bad things, so Mohammediams kill and burn.

But Gee, it's those lousy Israelis again. And how dare Douglas Murray have a different opinion with a Mohammedian. Could never be you are bigots and wrong.

I do love how racists like you project your racism onto others.

All the evidence shows that immigrants and migrants are LESS violent than the rest of the population and that most violence in a society comes from people actually born in a country. But those are facts, and facts get in the way of racism. And yes it is racism, since you only seem to be outraged over non-white people but never any white people (hence why you're defending Israel).

Also, the fire at Notre Dame wasn't an act of arson or terrorism so nice job promoting a lie to push your own racism.

White people are also Islamic.

Islam is a totalitarian socio- political system.

Not a race nor a religion.

Started in Arabia and now has taken over 52 countries.

All those countries have lost their religions and cultures to Islam.

Islam is the largest coloniser in history.

And right now is conquering from Asia to North Africa.

The ‘ convert or die’ is the mantra of Islam.

Right now in Sudan, Islamic militants are slaughtering Black Africans by the thousands, in order to spread Islam.

Iran in 1979 fell to Islam.

Lebanon was a Christian country as was Egypt, now they will kill you if you are a Christian.

"White people are also Islamic."

This proves you completely missed the point I was making.

"Islam is a totalitarian socio- political system. Not a race nor a religion."

This exposes your own bigotry.

"Started in Arabia and now has taken over 52 countries."

Christianity started out in Palestine and has now taken over...how many countries?

"All those countries have lost their religions and cultures to Islam."

Many nations lost their cultures and religions to Christianity, but you don't seem to care about that.

"Islam is the largest coloniser in history."

Britain, France and Spain would like a word about that.

"And right now is conquering from Asia to North Africa."

What do you mean by conquering?

"The ‘ convert or die’ is the mantra of Islam."

Citation please, or did you just pull this shit out of your ass?

"Right now in Sudan, Islamic militants are slaughtering Black Africans by the thousands, in order to spread Islam."

The RSF aren't Islamic militants, they're just Arab supremacists. So, you lied here.

"Iran in 1979 fell to Islam."

The Islamic Revolution happened in reaction to the brutal dictatorship of the Shah. Funny how you left that out.

"Lebanon was a Christian country as was Egypt, now they will kill you if you are a Christian."

Both Lebanon and Egypt have Christian communities. Also, by law, you have to be a Christian to be the president of Lebanon.

"‘Slay the non- Muslim wherever you find them- Quran 9:121."

Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.-Numbers 31:17-18

Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.-Psalms 137:9

I'll stop here because I think I've made my point with this.

So, you've shown you didn't understand what I was saying, are a bigot, don't know history, don't know Scripture, don't know current events...and you want me to take YOU seriously on anything? You've got nothing and you know it.

You are all free to disagree with the man. It is absolutely appalling that at dawn on October 7, 2023, the Gazans broke into Israel, went to a music festival that was occurring. Similar to Coachella or burning man festivals, so you understand there was an international attendance. Gazans also went into the nearby kibbutz. They did rape, they stabbed, shot, tied people up with cords and set fire to them. They kidnapped men, women, children and BABIES FROM THEIR CRIBS. There are still hostages in the Gazan tunnels, hostages in Gazan homes- usually in a closet.

On October 8, you and your Israel hating know it all said that didn't happen.

Someone like Douglas Murray, who has written previously about the death of the west and the cultural rot YOU ALL obviously enjoy in this modern day Sodom and Gemorrah find his opinion beneath you. Go move to Gaza. I don't need to know your disagreement on other points about a genocide where the Gaza was handed to them to begin their own country in 2020. Their population has increased by 5 mill in 20 years, they ELECTED Hamas, they destroyed the greenhouses, farms and waterpipelines to use rocket launchers and not have anything a Jew once had. So now they have a water supply problem and they are also on the Mediterranean Sea- where Jews went to the beach. Go vacation there. Remember- EGYPT AND JORDAN DON'T WANT THEM COMING INTO THEIR COUNTRY. THEY ALSO HAVE WALLS! Douglas Murray is a very brave man to face the public. And state truths.

This pompous pinhead needs to shut his pie-hole and quit acting like Americans are uneducated illiterates- He’s the type of reporter (if time travel were possible) who would have pushed to have the Christian Messiah crucified. He is an ideological descendent of the anti-semites of the mid-twentieth century, he just has a different target. I won't lower myself to personally insult you. I don't have to I can stick to the subject. I've read your comments & you've been asked time & time again to prove your accusations. Everyone is still waiting to see your proof. Proving how baseless your point of view is. The whole World had condemned the actions of the Zionists at the UN. Except for a country that has over 75% of its politicians who hold dual nationalities. Coincidently they all have another passport for exactly the same 2nd country (entity). It's pretty obvious to any rational thinking these people arent going to condemn the country thru hold a passport for. The whole world is wrong in your opinion. I'd say democratically the entity you're supporting is wrong for it's actions. The entity has used the Nazi's actions against them, for them doing exactly the same thing. As well as being totally evil, the hypocrisy is that far off the charts it's clearly a mental illness. No matter how much you support this evil it's still evil. No matter how right you believe the actions of the Zionists are. The whole world disagrees with you. No matter how many insults you aim at people it does not make you right. The World is disgusted by the Zionists actions. No matter how much you try & dress it up. There's no point in you arguing with me or me with you. You have your opinion & I have mine. It's no justification for personal insults because we don't agree. Not that, that matters to you. I'm a big boy & calling me a "useless cunt" is water off a ducks back.
