You assume he's actually thinking? You're right on the first comment; that one's obvious. The second is really just another fake argument with Satanyahu; don't read more into it. The third, I'd argue, could follow from 1 and 2; Trump is saying, "Look I'm in charge" even though he'll never actually do something about Israeli arms.

Now, the subpoint within the second?

It would be interesting to see Israel attack Turkiye since it's a NATO member. In other words, we'd get to see just how flaccid NATO really is in the face of Israel.

EDIT: My thoughts on who's the biggest bullshitter on this non-peace treaty MOU that hasn't even been signed yet. https://socraticgadfly.substack.com/p/whos-the-biggest-bullshitter-on-the

Interesting, I think most of the "arguments" between Trump and Netanyahu are fake, but I do think he is somewhat annoyed over the Israeli Beirut bombing (only because he was so desperate to make a deal after loosing), I could be wrong though, we will see.

That I agree. Trump doesn't like being upstaged. Bibi still doesn't fully get that. It's like a bull in a smaller china shop doesn't recognize what a bigger bull in a bigger china shop is doing.

Not wanting actual new fighting, but theoretically, I would want to see what NATO would do with an attack on Turkiye.

Nearly 76,000 dead in Gaza. Roughly 4,000 in Lebanon’s 2024 war alone. Beirut hit again two days ago. And your “theory” is that what’s missing from that pile is a NATO member.

That’s not curiosity about alliance politics. That’s enjoying the body count and wanting a bigger one.

Either way it’s a definite sea change which his supporters will take at face value.

Majority of Americans turning against Israel” isn’t rhetoric — it’s the polling.

Gallup’s latest survey found 41% of Americans now sympathize more with the Palestinians, versus 36% who favor the Israelis — a reversal from the 54%-31% margin favoring Isra el before October 7, 2023. That’s not a blip. Pew’s April 2026 numbers show six in ten Americans hold an unfavorable view of Israel, the highest on record and nearly 20 points higher than 2022 . Even Republicans under 50 have flipped — 57% now view Israel unfavorably, up from 50% a year ago .

Unconditional support for Israel used to be the one thing Washington agreed on regardless of who held the gavel. It’s not the consensus among voters anymore. That gap between DC and the electorate is the actual story here — not whether Trump is “in charge” of anything.

Agree. More independent sources of world news, wildly popular international stages like FIFA, magnets like Epstein and Trump, journalists like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Ana Karpasian, Megyn Kelly; have laid bare Zionist Jews control of politicians and their rape, torture and slaughter of over 100,000 children.

Great article. The only good thing about Trump is his striking stupidity. He so loves an audience and the sound of his own voice that he will say anything in order to remain in the spotlight, incapable of realizing the possible consequences of his words. I’m sure BiBi loved this. Now, if only enough US voters will refuse to vote for AIPAC backed candidates, we might finally free ourselves of Israel and its drain on resources. Without Israel’s incessant aggression in the Middle East we might see calm, even peace.

Yes, let's please do that before the Israeli military is joined with our military: the ultimate "entangling alliance." (Are they insane?)

Iranians are very rational people. More rational than Americans.

As the civil war in Syria showed, Al Sharaa’s hired thugs are no match for Hizbollah. Also the Hashd Al Shabi (PMU) in Iraq has warned him not to interfere in Lebanon.

I think Turkey will be an even tougher nut to crack than Iran. If Satanyahoo is stupid enough to attack them Israel will get the ass-kicking they richly deserve.

So when is the USA going to stop funding and supporting Israel? How much longer can they align themselves with Zionism and all of its evil?

Thank you for posting this. I’ve saved it to read in detail. I couldn’t help thinking of another title for it: “Broken-down Trump comments…”

Sorry, but Trump's words have always had the value of a straw, without actions.

I truly believe he doesn’t want these wars. But he has also likely been shown a certain plan that the colony has in the event of the USA tries to back out of our “special relationship”—that of a pimp and a whore. They gave him a golden pager ffs. My speculation tells me that they likely have caches of wmd dotted around American cities that they will unleash if we ever tried to break up with them. Basically like a psycho boyfriend that threatens to kill your dog if you ever leave him. Great folks over there!

President Addled Brain has woken up to his version of An Inconvenient Truth: his attack dog in the Middle East is a scorched earth warmonger which is off the leash and can't be put down. Suddenly, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", since he really has no cards left.
