“Disgruntled CIA source has secretly begun an operation to start rumors that Trump has authorized that conduct covert action in Venezuela, according to U.S. officials, stepping up a campaign against Nicolás Maduro”.

War Is a Racket Book by Major

by General Smedley D. Butler

(1935)

War Is a Racket is a speech and a 1935 short book by Smedley D. Butler, a retired United States Marine Corpsmajor general and, at the time the only, two-time Medal of Honor recipient.

Former General Butler summarizes:

"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

Global zionism is the problem faced by every country in the world. This is just another example.

Whatever the so-called political stripe, just more of the same. Always turns out so well when the USA decides it needs regime change somewhere.

Well, turns out super well for the very rich war profiteers and the nutty elites with their dystopian dogma. As for the rest of us ( along with the brainwashed who have licked up the propaganda) it’s a complete tragedy.

Guess I’m old fashioned, but covert ops used to be covert. The rationale becomes clearer with the info becoming public: the Administration wants this publicity.

It’s not really covert if everyone knows about it.

It is profoundly disrespectful (and morally obscene) to call María Corina Machado a “CIA puppet” while ignoring that Venezuela’s regime has tortured, murdered, and exiled millions of its own citizens.

Under Chávez and Maduro, Venezuela has suffered the largest peacetime collapse in Latin American history: GDP down over 75%, poverty over 90%, inflation erasing wages, hospitals without medicine, families scavenging for food, and more than 7.5 million refugees. A human exodus! The most numerous.

Machado has endured censorship, persecution, and the threat of imprisonment simply for standing up to tyranny. She is not a “U.S. asset”; she is a Venezuelan patriot who has chosen moral courage over complicity.

The international left disgraces itself when it romanticizes regimes that jail students, kill protesters, and dismantle every democratic institution.

María Corina Machado represents what Venezuela could have been, and might still become if it overcomes the terrible regime: a free, prosperous, and dignified republic.

To call her a puppet is to call every Venezuelan who dreams of liberty a traitor. It's to be apologetic with a criminal regime. Your analysis is ignorant, disrespectful and unfair.

That is the real obscenity.

This report answers how "democracy promotion" is a consistent imperial facade for resource control and geopolitical alignment. Such operations are not flaws, but inherent functions of man-made systems. For those who see beyond the propaganda, the true nature of global power is always clear.

One sided slop, branding Nobel Prize winner Machado as a US puppet. International sources largely dispute Maduro’s claimed 2024 reelection victory, the real winner Edmundo Gonzalez, Machado’s proxy. ( Machado was banned from running.) Following the election, a warrant was issued for his arrest, forcing Gonzalez to flee to Spain, which granted him political asylum. 7. 8 million have voted with their feet against the despotic Maduro regime; I.3 million are recorded as asylum seekers; 1 in 4 Venezuelans have left in total (UNHCR). As for allegations of a Zionist conspiracy, once again, antisemitism raises its serpentine head.

Which "international sources", other than the US and its puppets? Every international source I've heard about said the election was perfectly legal. As for the rest of your CIA-generated "statistics", most of those who have fled Venezuela did so because the illegal US economic sanctions have rendered the country's ability to repair the damage done by 150 years of imperialist exploitation difficult, resulting in deep levels of poverty that have been improving steadily.

Not a few were also victimized by the drug cartels operating out of Colombia, the former CIA hub for such regime-undermining organizations, including Tren de Aragua.

The Maduro government has had a repatriation program for those who were forced to flee the country for survival

Machado has been implicated in a right-wing plot to create a false flag event—an explosion of the currently vacant US embassy in Caracas scheduled to happen last Sunday. It's not the first such plot she has been found complicit in. She's really very bad at it. Yet there she is, collecting the Nobel Peace Prize with not a Venezuelan assassin in sight.

The “anti-semitism” schtick doesn’t work any longer.

It’s FAR from a “conspiracy”.

The non-U.S sources confirming the election’s lack of transparency are many: Organization of American States (OAS), Human Rights Foundation (HRF), The International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), The Human Rights Watch (HRW), the Venezuelan civil society group PROVEA , and the UN. Have you conversed with the growing exile community in South Florida. When you say, “imperialist exploitation,” you give the game away.

I have only 17 subscribers, so I would really appreciate if some of you give publicity to this protest, which I found out it's going on in the USA. Thanks in advance.
