Hamas: Return what is left of the hostages, lay down your arms, and go hide in the Hindu Kush. Self inflicted bullshit. Go Jews, screw the Moslem Islamist along with their ideology.

Israel was literally created by terrorists. This is historical fact. Irgun and Stern Gang.

Bari had been a shill for Israel from her Columbia student days. Even as a student, she never minded the consequences to others whom she targeted with her activism. Then the climb to the top of the journalistic ladder began until she started the Free Press. . What astonishes me is how many non-zionist writers work for her. Evidently, they support her views. Obviously, she could have moved to her beloved Israel long ago but chose not to. What I see is that she is determined to turn NYC where she recently moved and Austin where she is a founder of the new university into Zionist strongholds. I suspect Netenyahu will be the first to be invited to speak to the young students as Austin U.

I'm not Jewish and I support Israel. Anyone can support Israel. My question is why doesn't anybody put pressure on Egypt to open the border with Gaza?

Why should the Palestinians have to move to Egypt? Or anywhere for that matter? How would you like it if a group of people whom you welcomed with open arms most 80 years ago, are now forcing you off your land?

Why shouldn't Israel take in the refugees they create so they will stop creating wars to steal land?

Supporting the right of the state of Israel to exist [Zionism) does not equate to supporting or endorsing the policies or position of Benjamin Netanyahu. Bari has a right to express her ideas freely.

Yeah, she magically got a plum job at NYT as if she belonged to an ethnic group that controls the media.

I'm confused....did the free press article make false accusations regarding the gazans in the photos? Are you upset because media lied (mainstream, not the free press)regarding the actual facts around the cause of the "malnutrition ". So what you take issue with is that the "truth" is ....what?..."not very nice"? The free press article is not about "views" or "opinions ".....it's about "facts"....being that the particular photos the article discusses were all not factually correct or true. Maybe a dictionary for Christmas

The brainwashed propagandized insanity of Israel is a direct consequence of the US and Britain’s unnatural subsidy of Israel. The US has its own brainwashing process that has allowed the US public to accept the horrors of US apartheid. I’m finally beginning to see cracks in this evil. The Democratic base is 70% against Israel. But the Democrats in Congress are only 8% against Israel. Gives an idea of how corrupt Congress really is.

The Congress is the most valuable Israeli Occupied Territory. Take the oath or take the highway. You know who controls you by who you can’t criticize . Almost every Israeli accusation is a confession.

I don't understand why anyone ever speaks up for Barry Weiss. She jumps onto popular trends to rehab her image, like the free speech pushback with Greenwald and Taibbi, but she has always been a neoliberal shill and a zionist. Does it shock anyone that she's a genocide denier?

I don’t know what’s going on with some of these comments, but based on the fact that an article posted just a few days ago on this same topic had very little to nothing of these kind of pro-genocide responses, I suspect there’s some kind of targeted trolling going on here, probably mobilized by the same quarters that appreciate the (Un)Free Press’s style of “coverage” for this story. That’s a much more attractive theory than the idea that this many “people” are so hard-hearted (and frankly thick-skulled) that the literally dozens of examples you’ve given proving the famine, all from respected international and often Israeli sources like Haaretz, are just so much empty noise to them. On the other hand, if these are real people, I think we have some prime candidates for first settlers in the newly renovated Gaza City, where they’ll no doubt have long and happy lives under the entirely sane and stable government of that country. Anything to get them as far away from here as possible…

The lack of depth of comprehension and lack of compassion in these comments in support of Israel’s genocide is astonishing.

Amazing. How many thousand words, and not a line to suggest maybe Hamas should do it’s part, by returning hostages and jay if down arme. But that’s not what they do, is it? And if the author recognised that, his own article would vanish.
